While feathers are beautiful and have been a part of quilting forever, there are many others designs that are fabulous and provide wonderful texture to your work. In this class I will show you many of my background designs, as well as designs for sashings and unique areas of the quilt where block patterns do not work. Discover the secrets to free-motion continuous designs for set in triangles, flying geese and different shape blocks and borders. Some simple Designs With Lines techniques will be covered along with how to use the registration lines to keep spacing even with very little marking. Discover how to work with flying geese in a continuous motion filling up the triangle and background with the least amount of stops.
