Linda Matteotti www.lindamatteotti.com
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (2 Day Class)
Skill Level: All
This class is another great opportunity to use your stash. This 2-day workshop takes you through the entire process of using your own fabrics to design and construct your quilt. The first day of the workshop you will work entirely with the Electric Quilt software. You will scan your fabrics, create your applique quilt blocks, and lay out your quilt using your scanned fabrics. We will also explore the exciting technique of tracing graphics from a variety of sources. By the end of the day, you will print applique patterns that are ready to sew. The second day of the workshop, you will learn machine appliqué techniques using the patterns you created and printed.
If you don't own EQ6 or EQ7, the teacher can load a temporary version for you to try. Students who would like a temporary copy of EQ7 loaded MUST arrive in the classroom at least 30 minutes early.
NOTE: Students may use either EQ6 or EQ7.
