This original quilt design was created as a block of the month pattern
for hgtv.com. I wanted to create an art quilt that at first glance seems
complicated, but is actually simple to create.

Yosemite Triptyoh
Colleen Wise
Puyallup, WA
A family trip to Yosemite National Park inspired this piece. Fabrics
were hand-dyed to capture the play of light and shadow on the immense
granite domes. The quilting invites you to examine the intimacy of the
leaf underfoot.
